ERP for meat wholesalers

Run orders, stock and variable-weight fulfilment as one operation.

Larder connects the commercial and operational records an established meat wholesaler relies on, from the customer order and available lot to production, actual weight, traceability and delivery planning.

  • Customer orders, pricing and fulfilment progress
  • Lot identity, dates, origin and lineage
  • Catch-weight order and production records
  • Production, yield, waste and delivery visibility

One connected meat workflow

Keep the customer order connected to the product that fulfils it.

A variable-weight meat order can cross sales, stock, production, weighing and dispatch. Larder keeps the shared context visible as responsibility moves between teams.

  1. 1Intake

    Know the available product

Keep supplier and internal batch, dates, species, origin and applicable animal references with the lot the team can allocate.

  2. 2Process

    Prepare what the order needs

Plan the production work, keep input and output lots connected and retain the linked yield and final weigh evidence needed to complete it.

  3. 3Control

    See yield and waste clearly

Compare expected and actual yield, investigate variance and review existing animal by-product and disposal records. Creating new ABP waste records and recording disposal remain unavailable.

  4. 4Sell

    Fulfil the actual weight

Allocate available lots and keep target, actual weight, tolerance and commercial context together. The physical weighing workflow is configured and validated for the site.

  5. 5Trace

Keep the trace to the customer

Where the required records exist, follow the order item through fulfilled or produced lots to the relevant source records.

Built around what makes meat wholesale different.

Larder contains the traceability, weight and mass-balance detail below. Merge, repack, relabel and standalone yield completion remain unavailable. ABP creation and disposal remain unavailable, and species-specific, approval and labelling requirements are confirmed during discovery.

Species and origin

Lot records can retain species plus born-in, reared-in, slaughtered-in and cut-in origin stages where relevant.

Animal references

Ear-tag numbers and a cattle-passport reference can be stored with the applicable lot record.

Lot transformation

Parent-child edges preserve lineage through split, merge, repack, relabel and other transformation events.

Yield control

A linked yield session retains input, output and waste evidence and is completed through the production order’s completion step.

Catch weight

Variable-weight items can retain target, actual, tolerances, weigh provenance and per-kilogram commercial values.

Existing ABP records

Review existing animal by-product category, waste type, source lots, weight, collection and disposal evidence. Creating new ABP waste records and recording disposal remain unavailable.

Meat-specific records available in Larder

These records are visible in the current product, including existing ABP history. New ABP waste creation and disposal are unavailable. The product, establishment and market still determine which records are needed and how the workflow must operate.

  • Species and multi-stage origin
  • Ear tags and cattle passport reference
  • Supplier and internal batch
  • Parent and child lots
  • Input, output and waste weights
  • Expected and actual yield variance
  • Existing ABP category and source lots
  • Existing collector, consignment and disposal detail

Questions operators ask

Can Larder connect finished cuts back to an incoming lot?

Yes, when the production order's required input, output and yield evidence is present. Completing production updates input stock, output lots and yield together, records the links between them, and leaves the output awaiting quality review. Merge, repack and relabel remain unavailable.

Does Larder track yield and waste?

Yes. The linked yield session records input, output and waste evidence and completes through the production order’s completion step. Existing ABP history can be reviewed, but creating new ABP waste records and recording disposal remain unavailable.

Does Larder guarantee FSA compliance?

No. The operator remains responsible for approval, food-safety procedures, accurate records and the requirements that apply to its establishment and products. Larder can support those workflows but does not replace them.
